Over 10 years representing and expanding Team Checkmat in Europe and Asia, professor Leonardo Neves decided to take a new path.
In 2015 Leonardo Neves, along with his friends, owners of Jiu-Jitsu schools, decided to unify their visions and values and create
the Neves Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Association.

The Neves Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Association is comprised of teachers who work for the development of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in local regions.
Our mission is to spread the gentle art techniques within our community, offering classes for adults who want to learn this beautiful
and effective martial art and mainly preparing children and adolescents for the competitive world.

More than teaching a martial art we want to provide to all our students with unforgettable moments. Our vision is to stimulate self-esteem,
demonstrating the values of respect and teamwork, all whilst proving that dedication, discipline and devotion are essential factors
for the success of all those who want to conquer their dreams.
